Established in 1922, First Presbyterian Church has been called, “ A Beacon on the Hill“ Those who are members humbly understand this to mean that we are a light to the community. Our light comes from our faith in God; Father, Son, and Spirit. This faith leads us to welcome the stranger, feed the hungry, give shelter to the homeless, & hope to those who despair. Though we may not know your name, God does, and we welcome you in His name. It is our prayer that in this place of worship and fellowship, you will feel welcome and loved…not only by those who greet you, but by the God we worship and adore and who welcomes you with open arms.
