Meetings:
The Presbyterian Women meet in the Fellowship Hall 11:30-1:00 on the second Thursday of each month, September through June for Bible study. Each person brings her own sandwich to enjoy during the meeting. All women of the congregation are invited to participate.
Missions:
Mission projects are local, prespytery-wide and denomination-wide.
One local project is collecting socks, gloves/mittens, toboggans/caps of all sizes (children and adults) to be distributed in December. A basket in the Narthex is reserved for collecting these items.
In the Presbytery of East Tennessee PW donates to the support of Bachman Academy, Morgan Scott Project, Newton Child Care Center and Sunset Gap Community Center.
At the denominational level contributions are made to The PW Thank Offering and The PW Birthday Offering. Contributions are also made to special missions such as those needed after natural disasters, or other events when the needs are great.
